Reader Mode is the most underused free reading tool on every device. Modern browsers all have it built in; Edge has the best one. Pair with Read-It-Later for saving articles you don't read now, and Distraction Blocking for the hard problem of actually opening them.

• Outline.com — free; web; "outline this article" — paywall-bypass-ish (legal grey for some sites).

Patterns
