Laser Project & Pattern Libraries

The laser equivalent of Model Libraries for 3D printing — places to download SVG / DXF / AI / RD project files, and parametric box / enclosure / puzzle generators. The 2026 landscape is fragmented: vendor-locked catalogs (Glowforge / xTool), open SVG marketplaces (Etsy, Creative Fabrica), and FOSS parametric generators (Boxes.py, MakerCase). FOSS parametric box / enclosure generators

• ★ Boxes.py — open source (GPLv3); the dominant parametric generator. ~150 box / hinge / drawer / Tupperware-clone / case / shelf templates with kerf compensation, finger-joints, T-slots. Web-runnable + CLI. The single most-used FOSS laser tool.
